Sandblasting concrete for safety
Most people never think of Sandblasting but it has it’s purpose even in a residential setting. Although this project is at a private school in Vancouver, sandblasting can be a cost effective tool for many purposes. On this project at York House School, we were hired to make a concrete wheelchair ramp less slippery when wet and icy. As you will see in the video below, Sandblasting takes this ultra smooth surface and turns it into a rough even finish that is next to impossible to slip on even when wet or frozen.
Don has 30 years experience with sandblasting and with glass panels costing $2000.00 each along side this ramp, you want someone with experience.
